Worthy Causes

KID SUCCESS is an after school program for 5th – 8th graders. Some of these are latch key kids. Our van picks them up at school. The program is entering is 2nd year of operation and for now is serving only Springville. The program can grow, but we must have volunteers. Our all volunteer staff provide a snack, brief devotion, homework assistance, exercise, and camaraderie. The cost is minimal and financial assistance is available. We work with their teachers to help the students focus on areas they need help.

Call (205) 681-1934 to offer your help. An hour once a week is great, a full 3 hour day better. I have volunteered for every Monday from 3 to 6.

We have a waiting list for kids, and can only help more kids if we get more helpers. Call and volunteer today.
